Hello, I have another question concerning early reading and speech development. In Germany ST tell us, that whatever a child can read, it will say.
This is right from what I have seen. One of my problems is though, that Cecile does not pronounce very well. Funny enough, when she reads a single word, it will be VERY clear, if she reads it in a sentence, it will be less clear and we are down to guessingwith the same sentence without her written words. Can you tell me how to help her with accuracy of speach?
next question: cecilie can read very long sentences (7-10 words), but in active speach she uses very short senences like I want to eat or I want to eat bread, but not I want to eat bread with mum and dad ( She can read that though). When does it become useful to read longer sentences to make it useful for her speach development?
Thanks for reading,
