My 2 year old has an IEP coming up and I wanted to know if anyone could recommend any books to read on preparing for an IEP meeting. Thanks!

The book: Negotiating the Special Education Maze : A Guide for Parents & Teachers, might be helpful. I've not used it, but it does have a section on early intervention. You can get it at amazon for about $14.
I think the main thing is for you to reflect on what you want for your child and how you want him to recieve it. Ask questions and then ask more questions. Even ask when things can be changed. For instance, ot said that she would check on Hunter monthly so that she would know when he needed more help. This sounded good at the time, but when I decided that he needed more we could not get it till the 6 months was up and it was time to re-evaluate. I also now know that I don't want to wait till he is behind to get help I want it now.
