ok another forum idea see what everyone else thinks

i just got the idea from seeing a thread topic as Briarsmom

If there were an FAO section then if someone wants to ask a particular person about something or have something to tell them then they could go into the FAO section

( and it would make the person feel quite special too that they have an FAO to them!! )

Just an idea

( yes i seem full of them ha ha but are they good ideas???? Smile )

I'm stumped, what does FAO stand for?
For All Others?
Forsaking All Others?
Faulty Asterisk Orbiters?
Fish and Oranges?
Feeling All Ooogy?
Flatulent and Old?
Forgetting And Obstreperous?
Fleeing All Ostriches?
I'm stopping now, keeping it clean, and hoping for the best.

ok sorry i never thought of it as a UK phrase I guess it must be

For the Attention Of ~ FAO

so then then you could just post in the subject the persons name who it was For the Attention Of and then a message for them

or it might be to a couple of people

It was just an idea

Does it make sense now??

and Jeff your posts always have me in stitches!!!!

Hannah's mom--
when I want to bring something to the attention of someone specific I usually just pm them. Most people seem to have the pm option selected in their profile. Don't know if that helps any?

yes i know that and do use it too

I don't know how many PM's you can keep on file before they are deleted

My friend has an FAO on his forum and it works quite well cos you can reply straight away on a forum and also if it concerns more than one person everyone can just go to that bit of the forum and you don't have to keep clicking into you PM's if that makes sense

Anyways it was just an idea

When in doubt call gogle.com...

obstreperous \uhb-STREP-uhr-uhs; ob-\, adjective:
1. Noisily and stubbornly defiant; unruly.
2. Noisy, clamorous, or boisterous.

Elizabeth,
I laughed outloud when I read your response! I know that's what I'll first think when I see those letters!

And I know this is the wrong place to post this, but I am very jealous that Jeff gets to see Sammy in the flesh. All these California girls are just too far away! It warms my heart to know that Mya and Sammy are friends. keep posting pictures everyone, cause that's the next best thing. And I'm glad Sam is past this latest rough patch.
