A little prayer

If you think of it please pray that Talitha will start to drink again. She is eating very little and won't drink at all. It is a week now since her surgery. Praise God for the g-tube but I was hoping to be able to take it out. Before the surgery we weren't using it at all.

Karyn, here is a thread where we discussed this time period of recovery - 6 days post surgery.

http://www.downsyn.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=34803&highlight=hospital

This is what I wrote then and I say it again for you,

"Aleena got worse with eating and drinking right about this same time. She was also extremely constipated from the meds. Our ped told us that it gets better, gets worse and then gets better again. She said she has put many kids back in the hospital for dehydration days 6 - 8 because they stop eating and drinking. It's tough! Hang in there! It will be over soon and then it will just be a memory! "

I'll be praying for both of you!

Even if she won't drink, will she eat watery foods, like watermelon? I find sometimes I can't get Anna to drink but she will eat. Praying for Talitha.
