Last night Brad had really bad chest pains, so we went to the ER. His cardiac emzymes were a little elevated, so they think he had a small heart attack. I came home at 430 this morning, and after that is when they admitted him. They did a CT scan and then moved him to ICU-the guy who moved him upstairs said they found a blockage. I went back this afternoon and they are waiting for his cardiologist (one that I had just called yesterday to get an appointment, ironically) As of right now he is still waiting. He seems fine now, but I don't know what they have found in all his testing, or if they have a plan that involves a longer stay. What do they do when you have a small heartattack? Please think of him. Me and the kids need him home with us......

{{{{HUGS}}}}} Scary night. When one has a small heart attack they could do many different things. They could just start him on med's. They could need to fix a blockage in which most times they can make a little cut in his leg and run a little scope thing up there and take out blockage. I send {{HUGS}} and Prayers to your family.

Praying they are able to clear the blockage without any further complications. They may just put in a stint to open up the artery. He will probably have to be on medication too for awhile. It's good that you caught it before it caused a major heart attack or worse. Praying that he gets to come home soon good as new.
