My brother Andy that I raised since he was 7 is having a really hard time. I think he is finally finding out that being a grown up is hard work and not quite as easy as he thought it would be. He feels pretty alone right now and helpless. The thing is that he never had to do anything alone, but he is prideful and never wanted to be a burden on us. In his eyes, we raised him, and we shouldn't have to help him anymore, though he doesn't seem to mind us paying his phone and insurance lol. It's pretty hard seeing your child(and he has always been mine since the moment he drew his first breath) hurting. I know he can get through all of this, but he is wavering and last night pretty much told me he feels like God doesn't care about him, a pretty difficult thing for me to hear. Please pray that he learns to trust the Lord because I know in my soul that anything is possible with the man upstairs. Andy and hubby took a drive to talk about 30 minutes ago. I know Andy misses our dad so much. He just hasn't been the same since he passed away last year.

Grief can do that to you! I know exacatly how your brother Andy feels right now! For me it was like being lost.....for myself.....my hubbie....my kids!
That feeling did lift but it took much longer than I or anyone expected, and definatly longer than a year.
I'll keep Andy in my thougths and prayers!
I pray he'll find a way back to himself!
