ok, i consider this a 1 on a scale of 1-10 considering all the serious requests i've seen lately. but it could easy move up in the ranking depending on how much it's going to cost.

yesterday i was eating some chinese rice (soft and mushy) and i thought i had crunched down on a small misplaced piece of chicken bone. it turns out it was my tooth! after our meal my mouth didn't feel the same so i looked in the mirror in the bathroom and my back right molar was missing a good sized chunk. Shocked it doesn't hurt...yet...

this could be due to a miriad of things: it's a tooth w/ a very old filling, i grind my teeth at night, giving birth to my son and clenching down could've helped this along.

anyway, we don't have dental insurance and i am going to have to go to a clinic where they base the payment on your income. only my husband works right now, so this could be in our favor. it's just that there are so many other things tipping the plate financially for us lately. if you could please pray for God's grace and mercy here. it's so small, but i believe that God is in the details as well as the bigger plans of life.

also that the pain would be kept at bay. this clinic doesn't open till 8am on monday and i have an already busy day that day. *sigh*

I have several large fillings in molars and one by one the teeth have been cracking with large pieces coming off. I've never had pain with any of them and I've never been able to get o the dentist right away. One I let sit for several months before going in. While this worked fine for me, I was told that the danger in waiting is that it could lead to a bigger problem requiring a root canal instead of just the crowns I ended up with.

I'll pray that you have no pain and that the dentist is having a sale on crowns this week.

I know what you mean - just one more thing to add to the bills!! I will be praying that you can get this fixed with little financial burden!

We have dental, but it's not a good plan. They don't pay much at all. Sometimes I wonder why we even have it. I hate the dentist and I hope by now you have your tooth fixed. And you have no pain in your mouth or your pocket.
