Very cute!!
I had to laugh in a "funny how that works" kind of way (not a ha ha kind of way.) Angela has ALWAYS had a 1:1, and still kids get hair pulled by her. Because she STILL needs to be able to interact, and sometimes that means sitting near someone in the lunch room, or playing a board game with them, which puts her in reach. The only way another child is 100% protected from her is if there is ALWAYS an adult between her and every other child in the room, and that's just not humanly possible. It's very sad for the other kid! And, Angela could go MONTHS without getting anyone, so staff lets their guard down.
I know Angela's staff always feels horrible when it happens. Well, Angela does too, for that matter. Sadly, the people she loves the most are also the ones who get the brunt of her attention.

Leah, I think you're right about the people being loved getting the attention - if the boy was really out to hurt Clara then he would not have switched from pulling to hugs when I took the bows out of her hair. I can see anything happening every once in a while. But on a daily basis, to the point that Clara was crying and not wanting to go in the classroom and the staff is telling me how much more relaxed Clara seemed on the days the boy was out - I think that they needed to try a little harder to keep the kids separate. There were only 10 kids in the classroom, 1 teacher, 2 aides, a 1 on 1 for the boy, and only 5 kids had special needs. It seemed realistic to expect them to help Clara a little more!
