If you have had this done - what should I expect? Painful? How long till I get the results? Would you do it again?

I agree with the above. It's painless for the most part and the full bladder is the worst of it.
I would do it again however I would make them test thru 100 cell lines. They only go thru the 1st 20 and Larkin's DS was not detected until the 50th cell line.

I would check with the person carrying out this check what their record is like purely as their is a risk of miscarriage
I think you are doing the right thing by asking peoples opinions and then whatever you decide to do at least it is an informed decision
